Who We Are

Local Churches provide shelter sites from October through April.  We have  a Resource Center where our guests can shower, do their laundry, apply for jobs and services, re-establish independence and improve the quality of their lives.

Our paid staff consists of a full time Director and three part-time Support Service Coordinators. These experienced staff provide the support and coordination of services offered by Gettysburg CARES in both locations. The primary focus of all these services and supports is to assist and support our guests as they seek to re-enter the community.
