Gettysburg C.A.R.E.S (Combined Area Resources for Emergency Shelter) mission is to provide shelter for up to 30 people when no other shelter can be found.

Over 250 trained volunteers provide the staff for the Shelter and Resource Center. Your help can improve the lives of our homeless neighbors.

Our mission is accomplished through a partnership with fourteen Gettysburg area churches and community service agencies.

Gettysburg CARES consists of a cold weather Shelter and a Resource Center geared to provide support to our guests.
